How use BE 8.6, please somebody help me!!!!

My tape drive passed in all tests that I made, communications, read an write.

I did a full backup with a trial version of TapeWare, but when I tried to use the BE 8.6 I got a I/o Device error and my job fail.
Is TapeWare better than BE 8.6???
Please help me to do some backups with BE

Make sure all of your services are running for bexec!

Yes they are all(BE services) started!!!

Have you installed the Veritas drivers for the backup devices. I had problems with a tape drive using it's own driver and it worked after I ran throught the device configuration and installed the veritas tape drivers.
