I have two IP 406v2's connected via SCN over T1's.

Site A has 8 CO lines.
Site B has 2 CO lines.

How can I have site B use use CO lines from site A for outgoing calls when the other 2 are in use?

Thanks!

Garry

LCR all the way.

Put in a secondary route to your VOIP trunk group.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Let me see if I understand... I set an alternate route to the VOIP line group in LCR for system B. If system B's lines are in use, it will use available line from system A?

HI garrydw,

Pls be aware if the CO lines are analog, these line does not realese after the user hangsup,we mainly faced this problem on 3.1(56).in 2.1(27) it was working fine.

If you have battery reversal on the lines then no problem.

Take care

Thanks Delta. We are curently running 3.2(7). I will give it a shot. I am still not certain how this needs to be configured though?

I'm guessing that I should created an LCR on system B. The main route points to the line group of the CO lined on system B and the alternate route points to the VOIP line group... right? What exactly should the short codes look like?
