Hi,

Beginner question. I'm drawing a flower petal. I simply select the Pencil tool and draw it. When I try to select and fill it, I get nothing. I have verified that I have selected only that object, because there's a red box around it, and then a blue box, etc.

Thanks,

Hi Soho,

Is the line of the flower totally joined?

I mean, there are no breaks in the design is there?

If it is totally joined, you can just use the paint bucket tool with the color/gradient of your choice and click anywhere inside the flower outline.
