Assume that I am getting a email from Mr.A. He has added some addresses in CC and BCC. Is it possible for me to view BCC Addresses?

-Leo

Leo,

Nope. As BCC (blind carbon copy) is there for that specific reason. Not to allow recipients to see other recipients.

You never know, Mr.A, may be trading with companies B & C and you do not want either of them to know that.

There are ways in which you can see the BCC address but it only works with one version of Outlook express it is the one that comes with windows 98 you can right on the email goto properties then details and it will say to Undisclosed-Recipient then on the next line it will show all the BCC address to the sender sent to. It does not work with any other email packetage that i have tryed.

Sender can view the BCC. That is possible in all email clients. But I want to know whether the recipient can view BCC field or not?

Yes, The recipient can view the BCC address when there receive the BCC email there can right click on properites and go to deltails and it will show you the address. my guess is this must be a floor in the outlook express version
because i try it with ie5.5 and ie6 and it does not show the addresses.

Which version of outlook express supports that?
