How to use thermometer from INT'L Tool

Hi there!
Having problems using message box with thermometer on it
from INT'l Tool.
While trying simply follow toolkit instructions -- getting
empty messagebox that stays during the process with no changes (but I'am calling it 5 times!!).

Please help.

Thanks a lot for additional information on progress bars ,
but I'am forced to use the one from INTL Tool by S.Black only.
I got it work but just first time (first MSGSVC) I see it
and therefor nothing changes.
Is anybody have experience of doing that in INTL ?
