I have several macro using sendKey on my Access application. It was Access97 before. After I upsized it to Access 2000 with SQL2000 database as the backend, I found none of the SendKey function in macros work.

The following are some keys using sendKey in macro:

{ESC} :Escape key for cancel
^(~) : Control ~ for pasting

Any idea to make them work? Thanks a million.

Just guessing, but in Access2000 it's "SendKeys" (plural). Could that have anything to do with it?

Yes, I used SendKeys indeed.

By the way, when I used SendKeys in VBA, it works.

If I cann't find the reason, I will just use VBA.

Thanks.

Hi. I work with a huge database and I am trying to create a form that is all done by sendkey (keystrokes) macros.
Could someone please email a site where they have all the sendkey keystrokes and how you should type them in correctly so it works.

For example:

ALT+F, ALT+G, ALT+L
How would I get this to work in order?

Have you checked the help files under SendKeys Statement? I haven't done this in a while, maybe even since Access97 Help, but I thought the list there was pretty clear. I do remember sometimes having to put in several successive SendKeys, and there was something about setting it to Wait?
