Hi, someone I could clarify a question?
It is the following:
The version of the Extreme X450a-24x
-------------------------------------------
* X450a-24x.1 # show version
Switch : 800188-00-03 0739G-80617 Rev 3.0 BootROM: 1.0.2.2 IMG: 11.6.1.9
XGM2-1 :

BootROM : 1.0.2.2
-------------------------------------------

The version of the Extreme X450a-24t
-------------------------------------------
* X450a-24t.1 # show version
Switch : 800152-00-05 0743G-80610 Rev 5.0 BootROM: 1.0.2.2 IMG: 11.5.2.10
XGM2-1 :

BootROM : 1.0.2.2
-------------------------------------------

The question is:
How do the two were talking.
I read the following information in the document:
"ConsolidateXOSHardwareInstallGuideRev2.pdf pag 151"
The switches have the doors stack, but this information tells me that is reserved
For future software.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pag 151
Two high-performance stacking ports
These ports are currently not supported but are reserved for future software
features.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could you confirm this information?
How to use port trunk? Any example.

Thanks

Not quite sure what you're asking.
Stacking and trunking are 2 very different things.
What are you trying to accomplish?

I think he's referring to stacking. The stacking ports on the back of the x450's allow for stacking multiple switches together as a single switch for configuration purposes.

You need XOS 12.0 or higher to enable it, as well as the stacking cables from Extreme.
