Hi,

My pstn's Version BC8.0; I just got a new HDU6 board.

I want to dump the current system data into the hard disk of this HDU6 board, but I do know how to format the disk.

Could anybody tell me all the steps of dumping and how to format the disk? the detail of instruction would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot in advance...

Can you send to as printout of command:
IODDP;
And
FISCP:IODEV=SYSDISK1;
If after command above, answer from system is:
NOT ACCEPTED
DEVICE NOT EXIST
IODEV value you can find in printout of command IODDP.
IODEV value (name) is in column IODEV/SUBFS in this same row where in column I/O-BUS is SCSI/x . Probably x=3

For a start i would get rid of HDU6 and get HDU7 or even HDU5 as they are much more reliable

Hi StZhibuwb!

BLEQI:EQU=1-0-23-0;
FIMOE:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11;
FIMOE:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS21;
IOSIE:NODE=SYSN,IODEV=SYSDISK1;

1. switch OFF old HDU.
2. change to new HDU.
3. switch ON new HDU.

IOSII:NODE=SYSN,IODEV=SYSDISK1,SIPOS=3,SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11&SYSSUBFS21;

Dear bpetya!
Thanks for your answer; I really preciate it.

Good luck!

Dear bpetya !

I got some trouble!

When I use the command "FIMOE:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11",

The system told me "NOT ACCEPTED , MOUNT POINT FOR A SUBFILE SYSTEM

If you haven't already ended syssubfs21, do that first. then you also have to end TM (subfs=TM), then you should be able to end syssubfs21:

BLEQI:EQU=1-0-23-0;
FIMOE:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11;
FIMOE:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS21;
FIMOE:SUBFS=TM;
IOSIE:NODE=SYSN,IODEV=SYSDISK1;

IOSII:NODE=SYSN,IODEV=SYSDISK1,SIPOS=3,SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11&SYSSUBFS21&TM;
FICRI:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11,SIZE=64;
Y;
FICRI:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS21,SIZE=64;
Y;
FICRI:SUBFS=TM,SIZE=64;
Y;

FIMOI:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS11;
FIMOI:SUBFS=SYSSUBFS21;
FIMOI:SUBFS=TM;
BLEQE:EQU=1-0-23-0,ALLFM=YES;
DUSYI;

Good luck,

Dave Strang
