How to use a local client application with Citrix printers?

We have specific applications which have to be used only in local, offline, on the client computer.
Once the user has finished filling this local application with his datas, he wants to print using the newtork printers (online) which are published only via Citrix.

How can I make this link between a local application and the Citrix published printers?

Perhaps the solution would be to publish the printers making them visible in the start menu/settings/printers of the client. I don't know if it is possible.

I would guess the answer would be NO, The citrix server session has connectivity to the local client but the local client knows nothing of the drives or printers on the server. If you are using a VPN connection you should be able to map the printer to the local client without Citrix getting involved, but if you are using a Secure gateway you really have no physical connectivity to your internal network so this would not be possible.
