How to use a Illustrator 7 plugin into Illustrator 10

Hi,
I need to run an Illustrator 7 additional import filter into
Illustrator 10.

I tryed to copy the "flt" extension file to the pluggins directory, but Ill. 10 did not recognize it...

Is there any way to handle it?

Which import filter? Does IL10 have it hidden somewhere on the install CD because it was not installed as part of the default set of filters.

OK! No problem, just copy the filters to the plug-in folder
and rename them to *.smrd.
