How to upgrade RES 4.0 GR to 4.7

I recently had to reinstall Micros 3700 and I have the installation and pre req CDs and another cd with some res 4.7 files; RES47.exe, etc... How do I upgrade it?

Woah! You will need various pre reqs and other patches to step up throught the versions.
I wouldnt do this unless you have done it before.

Oh I see what your saying, I have to install every Pre Req and Installtion for each version.
Though what about the RES_xx_MR1 and RExxSE files, what order do those go in?? Please I really need the help.

Yes, every pre req indicates the big version steps that cannot be missed, then install the pack straight after. You are looking at maybe 5 or 6 patches. With the DB upgrades as well, and size of DB you could be looking at half a day to 8 hrs work.
