We have an NT 4.0 BDC in one domain, and two Windows 2000 Servers in a new domain. The two domains have a co-trusted relationship. I want to upgrade the BDC to Win2k, moving it into the new domain. If anyone can tell me, step by step, how to accomplish this, I'll be very grateful!

Regards,
Gordon

The proper procedure is to remove the PDC from the network for safety. After this is done, upgrade a BDC to the PDC. Unjoin it from the domain. Install win2k over it. Assuming they are on the same network ip wise, bring it into the new domain. If you wish to make it a DC, run dcpromo.
