Hi,
I have just performed an upgrade from 7.0 to 2K on a couple of servers.
My problem is that i'm not able to registrate the 2K servers in a 7.0 Enterprice Manager.
I'm told to upgrade the SQL Enterprice Manager and SQL-DMO (SQLOLE) to SQL Server 2000.

How do I do that ?

I have tried to just copy
SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC
sqldmo.cnt
sqldmo.dll
From the 2K installation to the 7.0 but it didn't help anything. I guess it is the wrong files.

You need to install the SQL2000 client tools on the server

THX - didn't realize that it was a matter of running just a part of the SQL2K Installation.
:)
