How to update XML file from ASP?

I have .asp file which shows values from XML in text boxes available for update.
I try to save results of update back to XML file. Nothing so far. Can anybody advise me?

Not exactly.
I need to update the node value
Also my XML can be stored at the different Server so I am using XMLHTTP object.
Thank you anyway.
