I need to update ICILOC/LASTRCPTDT with actual data. (This was a Plus Conversion which I inherited (without this data in the table.) Client requires data for identifying slow-moving items.

I have been able to export the data fields (ITEMNO; LOCATION and LASTRCPTDT) from Pervasive to MS Excel (through Excel ODBC: DATA/Get External Data/New Database Query). Data has been added to pertinint fields and now I wish to update the Pervasive table (ICILOC) from the excel file.

Can anyone assist me with this task?

Thanks.

If you already have the ITEMNO, LOCATION, and LASTRCPTDT in excel just import it through IC Location Detials. Just make sure you just select those 3 Fields when importing. DO AN EXPORT FIRST of those 3 fields just to make sure you have the correct formating, column names ect. and copy your data into that exported file. Thats all.

Accpac does not allow the "last receipt date" field to be imported in IC Item Locations. It may be exported, no problem - but not imported.

I actually updated the Pervasive PSQL table by linking it to an MS Access file. Testing commences tomorrow!!!

Thanks for your post: Good luck.
