Hi guys! We've made several calls about possibly upgrading / updating the software version on our Nortel CallPilot Manager and have gotten nothing useful! We've called avaya, local phone people - nothing!

Our current version of call pilot manager is v.31.10.14.22

My question is, can someone please walk me through or possibly point me to the update directions? AND can someone link me to the correct version of the newest call pilot manager software (assuming we don't have it?)

We're experiencing a problem where we try to upload new voice prompts in VBK format from the web-based manager, and they will not take! We've never had this problem before - we recently upgraded computers to windows 7 using Internet Explorer 9...I assumed it was the browser so we've tried uploading using Chrome, Safari and Firefox as well but it's still not taking. Does someone have a workaround? I assumed upgrading our outdated callpilot manager software MIGHT cure the problem?

Matt

so little update...the VBK files seem to upload from a computer on Windows XP with internet explorer 7...but still hoping some sort of software update to call pilot manager will allow IE9 to upload files...

Does anyoe know a workaround?

Do you happen to know of an update that will allow uploading VBK files from IE9?? ie7 seems to perform fine...

The latest version i have is:

Version 31.10.31.22 of CallPilot 100/150/Mini Release 31.10 NAEnglish LASpanish

Build Date: April 18, 2008
S/W Label: CPL_31.10.31.22
DSP Fw version: 1.50.51.A8

Brian -- How might we be able to get this update?

Files are on the Avaya site or call your local vendor.

I think 31.10.37.22 was yanked as might have issues.
Only Release notes and App Server software for 31.10.37.22 are on the site.

31.10.36.22 was previous.

The following OS are supported by CallPilot 100/150 R3.1 31.10.37.22:
Windows 98 SE
Windows 2000 Professional
Windows XP Professional
Win NT 4.0 SP6a
Windows Vista Business

Browsers:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
Netscape 4.0
Netscape 4.5
Netscape 4.7
Netscape 6.0
Netscape 6.1
Netscape 6.2
Netscape 7.0

As for how to upgrade see our FAQ's:

Can you give a little more detail on your issue and process etc????

Well I said "might" above only based on the software no longer available for download as well problems posted here but we have not heard of any issues.
I just looked at Avaya site today to verify it's still the latest and that's when I noticed it was no longer there so I am a bit stumped as to why.

Is the upgrade something that can be done over the internet or must it be done by someone within physical reach of the unit? Also - will we need to re-configure everything after upgrading?

Physical....I provided you the FAQ above on the how to but its best you hire a vendor as they carry the upgrade cards with them.
Most are one hour service call with admin fee's for software usage.

Programming would be retained if all goes well.
