I just want to know how to uninstall win2k for my PC? I have it dual-booting with NT 4 WS. I want to still be able to use NT after it is removed, any ideas???
Simple -
1. Remove the WINNT directory for the 2000 installation
2. Edit the boot.ini to remove the option to boot to 2000
If you use seperate partitions for the 2 installs, you will still be using the 2000 boot loader unless you change your system partition to the NT4.0 partition. U can do this with the 2000 install disks, with the repair console. Type HELP when you get in, and it will guide you the rest of the way.
There is no drawback to using the 2000 boot loader, so I would not worry about it.
Good Luck!

Thank you for letting me in on this. I thought that you could just erase the Directory that I installed it in, but I wasn't to sure if I was going to erase some "important" files. Thank you again!!
