Remove the boot.ini file and replace autoexec.bat and config.sys with the versions on a startup disk made in 95.
If these two OSes are on the same partition tehn we know it can be NTFS so you can just delete the winnt folder.
If however WINNT is installed on a NTFS folder then you might want to consider using Fdisk (Dos 6.0 or higher ) to delete the "non-dos" partition.
Lazy sod that I am I usually just change the settings for booting the system in System>>Control panel to use 9X as the default and no timeout...then delete the folders from within 9x.
