I am trying to setup call logging on a few of our merdians, I have had our Telecoms provider activate the CLID on the ISDN lines, however at the moment the systems are not logging the CLID info.

I have done some checking and the CDR book tells me I need to set CLID to yes in LD 17, unfortunately I don't have access to this. Can it be set any other way, or am I going to have to ask our system maintainer to do it for me?

no it must be done in 17 and if you don't have that pkg turned on you will not get the prompt in 17.

I know the package is there, I can see the setting if in LD 22, but my password will not let me access that area.

Thanks anyway.

even as a vendor, if my customer buys a switch i don't feel, locking them out is my call. some perfer to keep the users out of areas that can crase the switch or worse but it seems like that should be up to the company that owns the software. besides if you let the customes make changes then you can make $$$ when you have to reload the switch. (lol)
