I have a G3si R12 with communication manager 2.0. We recently added a new building to the PBX. It now supports 75 IP phones. We currently have 1 c-lan and 1 medpro dedicated for the 75 IP phones. The IP phones are on their own network, separate from the data.

I have received complaints from users who claim that phones would suddenly reboot, the voice quality would go bad ... I looked into vmon and saw lots of packets loses, excessive delay ...

Both C-lan and Medpro are set for auto sync ... is this setting right? Should it be set for 100 Full instead? Can you think of any problems I can take a look @?

 
Hi Nialaman,

The system you refer to is an Avaya Definity. There is a seperate forum for Difinity. The visitors over there can help you for sure.
 
I have the same reboot problem on a 8300 Media server with a G650 Media Gateway. Some of the phones reboot during the day, any advise ?
