How to transfer the output files into my iPod?

I boughtsome software to converte the Video format to ipod?But when I have finished the conversion,I cannot transfer the output files into my iPod? Could somebody tell me what's the problem?

Check that the converted files are imported into your iTunes video library. Then synchronise the iPod with iTunes.

You are using iTunes, right?

tahnks!I find the answer int the sharewareguide.net.I didn't install iTunes.but thank you very much.I learn something and become a little less stupid.
