Hi all,

Is there an easy way to tell if an intuity audix I have has C-LAN integration just by looking at it or do I need to power it up and get into it? For example, certain boards on the back. It is a UNIX unit, not an LX. Once in, where would I look?

Thanks!

Joe

If it doesn't have a network card, then it doesn't have Clan intergration. If it does have a network card then it might have integration. Look in switch Integration to see if it is set up for clan

If you power it up and login. At the main menu look the software management menu. Once in their click the option to view installed software. Look for the DefinityOverlanSwin set. If you see that you have clan. IF you see DCIU-SWIN you have an older X.25 link box. Also you can click on switch link administration and then click "press enter sorry this in a lynx browser no mouse's here" on Call Data something or other and if you see a port number and IP adress you have a clan integration.

Assuming the Intuity is connected to a Definity V7 or greater you may or may not have a C-LAN link. Below V7 doesn't support C-LAN integration. For V7 and above you can check in theDefinity by doing a 'display communication processor-channels. Look for a link named 'audix' and he connection information that follows.
