How to Sum a custom Formula Field

Hello. I am new to Crystal Reports am I am using version 11. I have a basic question. I have created a custom formula field that divides a Total field by a distinct count field. I need to now sum that custom formula field and it is not listed as a choice when using the running totals wizard.

Please post your formula Also indicate where on the report it is located. Group footer? Why are you using a running total wizard as opposed to a simple total?

I am sorry to have wasted your time. I ended up sending the report onto a programmer with more crystal report knowledge. Thanks for the quick reply.

Crystal can't make summaries of summaries, that is probably your problem. If you've done a summary at group level, you can do a similar summary for the whole report. But it will need to be created separately.
