How to store value for Reports, Tables, forms

Hello to all.
I am new to VBA but hopefully someone could help me out.
How can I store a value for example "LANE1"

So that I can this value, on a field for a table, form, report rather than hardcoding it for each. This way, it would be easier to update it in 1 place, and all the objects reports, forms, etc update based on this value.

This would be useful if I have another database called "lane2". I don't know if this makes sense or if additional informaton is needed.

Call a function within the first-opened form that will set the global variables to the values you desire.
