Hi all,

I am having issues with a nec IPS 2000.
For some reason when I call the main number it is suppose to ring at ext 110, but suddenly when I call it ring 1x and I here the AA say than you for calling etc, the call will be transferred, you hear a music on hold, but then the call doesn't go any where.
I want to stop this, so the calls can ring at ext 110 back again normally.
I tried the day/night option button that is programmed in the phone by pressing speaker button 9 then you see day, I chose 1 and set, then press speaker again.
It doesn't do anything, also tried mode 2 night, 3 mode A, 4 mode B, still nothing.

I was looking if there is an access code for this to disable, but I see it is not the same as an SL-1000 which can use simple access code.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you in advance

Hi OzzieGeorge,

I didn't see call forward activate on the screen, no sofkey configured, DND is not on.
The client told me that when they also dial ext 110 internally, they will also get the same message.
Just in case, what is the access code for call forwarding.

Access codes are subject to whoever programmed the system. They may not be the same between systems. Your best way of working the call forwarding is to use the command line.
CMD E600>extension> = CF all
E601 = CF busy
E602 = CF no answer.
E603 = combined CF busy/NA
An entry of CCC clears the setting. EX: E601>307>101:CCC>EXE

Hi belevedere,

Thank you for replying,

Do you have the steps precisely how I can do this, I am kind of lost with these steps.
Don't know much about command lines.

I do know that the first row are letters

Log in with MatWorX, select TOOL at the top, then selecy MOC mode. Press F9 key to start.
Type CMD E601, press space bar (or F8), type extension number, press space bar (or F8).
After making changes, press F2 to write changes to the system.

Hi All,

Thank you all for you replies,
I followed the steps as instructed, and they where going to an external Attendant, which we didn't see.
So I cleared it with the commands, and shut it off, is working good now.
Also it looked like the DND was active also, it was set on one of the many buttons, but was not marked.

Thanks alot
