Hello,
I can't usr the SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)on sqlnet.ora file, since we use this in NT enviornment.
Please someone tell me what other parameter do we use in Unix emviornment to stop connecting without password.

set remote_login_passwordfile to exclusive and set up the password file. Grant sysdba to the user you want to connect as sysdba. Make sure the no unnecessary users are member of the dba group.

ngibbs thanks for replying. I check the remote_login_passwordfile parameter it is set to EXCLUSIVE,
but i don't think password file has been set. Please kindly describe the procedure how to set up the password file?
Thanks again.
