I'm teaching myself and working with visual studio.net. I added a crystalreportviewer to my windows form and bound the report to the view using the reportsource property. My question is when I run the application I keep getting the database login. How can i stop this. I just want the crystal report to fire up.

Sorry...you have to supply a database login ID and password when you run a Crystal report (directly or from VB) ...otherwise you would have no security at all on your database :) JimBroadbent@Hotmail.com

Unless, of course, this is for your own use and you set the user ID and password in your ODBC definition...

try using following properties or methods.
.connect="DSN=DSNNAME;userid =id;pwd=password"
or
.logonserver
or
.logoninfo
