As I wanted to make a backup of the IOS of one of my routers there was an error:

SYSTEM ERROR: CANNOT START SCHEDULE.
Probable Cause: Schedule service was not started.Recommended Action: Start the schedule service.

So what's to do???

Well, Now I started this service [and well it was started but I actually restarted it] but it won't function, that means all jobs cannot be executed because my CW2k [under Win2k] is thinking the service has stoped.

Can anybody help me? Please!

Dear helpers, I still need help on it.

For example: If I want to save an image of a router, the job is added into the taskplaner. But in CW2k there is a bad error message [look above]. What can I do??
All the services needed are started!
Damn Problem! *g*

So?

I have the exact same problem...CW2K under Win2k. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Fabian

In Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Services, check that the Task Scheduler service is running. If it is not, start it manually. Also, you may need to verify the permissions on the service. Can you schedule a task on the machine using Windows Scheduler?

See if this fixes your problem
