now win2000 server start by default.

How i can enter in the linux session to install grub ?

This is a question for the reverse. I can't get back into windows. Actually my computer now does a very strange thing now. The Dell boot screen appears then goes black. The letters 'Li' come on the screen like it is going to load lilo which would be good, but actually what happens after that is the computer restarts itself. I can get into linux using my linux boot disk, but how do I get back into linux. Sorry to piggyback your question but this may help us both out. I reinstalled linux making windows my default but still no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have not made a linux boot floppy i the install process :-(
so when having "LI" at startup i booted by a DOS boot floppy

and made "fdisk /MBR" so i have restored the MBR to let bios start windows 200 server,

but how to start linux now ??? in order to install grub ???

boot from the linux installation cd, get the command prompt using rescue mode, reconfigure your lilo.conf and run the lilo command. try rebooting, if things are OK thats good otherwise u need an expert help.
