How to start as a junior Peoplesoft functional specialist

Hi All
My long term goal is to switch my career into business analyst and work as a Peoplesoft analyst (for purchasing and supply management). Big question is 'How?"
All jobs need at least a couple of years working experience with People soft. The company I'm working in is using a different ERP system.
Can anybody give me an advise where to start. By the way I'm working as a planner/buyer

same goal to me. all change will be difficult. at least do the following:

some base course online at peoplesoft are free.

at redbooks.ibm.com are some downloadable redbooks about implementing peoplesoft/db2.

on the net brio manuals of SQR can be found. (use google)
