appreciate if someone can help me with this simple question: one of my SS server in cs1k need to to connect to another UPS feed, then I want to shut it down gracefully in command line, what command line for it? thanks!

you can run

$disServices

to shut down all the services, but after that, I usually just hold the power button until it shutdown

There is a command

$shutdown

but have never used it

i have used
shutdown -h now

you need to be at root (Linux SS obviously just in case you are on an old one)

You can use disiTPS to gracefully move all the registrations from one sig server to another. After an ipsetShow indicates that there are no more sets registered to the server you are logged into you can either do a disiALL to gracefully bring all the services down or you can simply do shutdown. My preference is just to issue the shutdown command. Shutdown gives any other Linux users a warning and a timeout until it actually performs the shutdown. Issuing shutdown -h send the warning message and immediately starts the shutdown procedure.

Not that even with a graceful move of registrations that any acd sets that were logged in will be logged out and users will have to log back into them.

All you guys, I really appreciate, thank you!

I just ran $shutdown from the normal admin login (RLS 7.65) and it prompts telling you it is shutting down, then prompts that you will need physical access to restart the server. Type yes for both responses and it shutdown. This was a CPPM SS and just needed to hit the RST button and it came back up. No need to re-seat the card.

Hope this helps.
