Hi,

I need some want to advice on how to display record number on report IF the record number only shown by navigation bar in form. Any idea to create number in the form or just generate the number in report?

Another question is if the form contains many record and each record contains many entries. Each entry has a Number starting at 1 and next will be 2 and so on.The other record's entry also has stating number start at 1.
Any suggestion?
Thank you.

cheers.

TQ.

If I need to print the report according to the No in navigation bar.for instance, print record start at 10 to 15 and the report shows No. 10 to 15.Any suggestion? or May Be I think of creating a field in form and Auto generate Number for different records ?

cheers.

Why would you do such a thing? That number just tells you where you are in the underlying recordset, it has absolutely no connection to your data and will NEVER comply with what you show in a report. Think of sorting, filtering, deleting, adding data.

Don't try to relate this number to your data, as you will end up buying painkillers for your headaches...

I think what you want is possible, but with a rather large amount of coding and it's just not worth it...
