I have searched this forum and manuals and didnt find answer.

What I want is

Secretary has number 120
Boss has bumber 110
When Boss calls out through PRI it should show out 120. When somebody knows Boss number (110) he can call him from city network directly.

Problem started after I upgraded 11C 20.22 to Rel 4.5.
In old system Boss had CLS LDN and there was LDN0 120 in CDB.
In new release I cant give Boss cls LDN.

I tried to use CLID but it send out wrong call type (NATL).

In our 30B+D 2MB ISDN network we send only 3 last digits from our number and the number type has to be unknown othervise city PBX sends forward base number in our number plan.

I think the reason why call type is changed to NATL is that HNTN is called "National code for home national number (1-6 digits)".

KEY 00 SCR 110 1 MARP

Half solution is to make

KEY 00 SCR 110 D MARP
ANIE 0
01 MCN 150 0 MARP
Then I send out number 150 but this 150 cant be programmed under key 0 somewere so I cant enter 120 instead of 150 because 120 is used as key 0 scr on secretay set.

Maybe you can sugest some kind of solution or fetaure that I could use to reach my goals?

Create a unique CLID table that sends out the number you want (120). Make it some high number, like 9, then reprogram his DN as:

KEY 00 SCR 110 9

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

to add a clid chg net then enter yes at the clid prompt.. the entry 2, fill that in and change the key 0 scr xxx 2.. that sends clid 2, without notice of the dn

My problem is that when I use CLID Meidian changes call type fropm unknown to natl. Whit clid I can send out the right number but Service Provider (City PBX) wants to recieve only numbers with number type unknown. When it sees natl it discards the number Meridian is sending and send out to the network our numbering plans first number (base number).

Can I change call type somehow or use some other solution to show out other subscriber number without changing call type from unkonwn to soemthing else?
For other users I am using CLID 0

So subscriber sends out its DN number and call type is unknown.

I know now how to change called number type but how I can change calling number.

Thank you all for your support and helped me to keep going. :)

I think I found another problem though, not related to the CLID.

Question. Is partial rerouting possible with 11C?

define partial ?

If the subscriber activates call forward to external number

the usual case is that if someone calls from city to pbx one ISDN B channel is taken and when call is forwarded out, another B channel is taken and those B channels stay busy until the call ends.

When you have what they call here "partial rerouting", then if the call setup is in progress on D channel and the service provider and pbx are signalin to each other and PBX "says" my number X is transfered outside PBX to this destination, then service provider does the transfer itself and no B channels are taken in use at all. It makes possible also show A number to pearson who receives the call and bills for forwarded calls are going to the right number (the number X who activated call forward) not on base number.

It can be done in Siemens HiPath 3000 series for sure.

Hi John,

This is my first time here and I already found it tremendously helpful, so thank you...

As I read the Q&A, I would like to add one more clarifying question..

I have an Option 81C that serve two different buildings (two different CO's) with tie cables between them. For 911 calls, all go thru building 1... We need to have the Public Emergency Center go to Building 2 directly when 911 is called..

I have two business lines installed in Building 2 that I will extend them to B1..

My questions are...

A.) If I route building 2 911 calls out on these two trunks how do I do that.. or

B.) Can I use the CLID program in LD 15 and insert the ANI of the business number there and still do the same thing ???

Thanks again in advance...
