I know SQL_Server does it.

Is there an MS_Access option that'll show NULL fields as something other than blank?
Zero-Length would look like " "
Space would look like " "
NULL would look something like "<<null>>".

I have a DB with poor NULL handling and it would be a huge research help...

For numeric fields displayed in text boxes on forms you can use the format property like:
0.00;(0.00);0;"Null"

I expect this doesn't work for text field but you can use Conditional Formatting.

I just realized you specified "table view". The options I suggested will work in datasheet view which is similar to table view.
