I have an extensive list of custom macros and icons I have developed for the kind of accounting work I do with XL. Other users want to have them also, but it's a chore to set them up.

I know how to share my Personal macro workbook, but how do I copy my icon setup to other users? Some of my icons I wrote myself and I can't find them anywhere. I used to do this easily with Lotus.

One way is to bluntly copy your personal workbook and your xlb file (file with extension .xlb which holds toolbars) to your colleagues' machines. They will immediately loose their own customisations and may not be so happy about that.

You may prefer to distribute templates or turn your personal workbook and relevant toolbars into an add-in. A neat description for this is at

Thanks for the info. I can copy them because I wrote a new toolbar, left the originals as they were. I appreciate the help.
