We have a small pier to pier setup and would like to share calendars for edit suite schedules. Any ideas.

Thanks,
John

1. Right mouse click on Calendar.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select Permissions.
4. Change the default view to Reviewer (this allows access for
everyone to view your calendar entries).

I do not have a permissions tab in properties. This is Office 97. Do I need to upgrade?

Thanks,
John

This is a work network. Our mail server is the host isp I guess?

I also am looking to do this with Outlook 97 on a home network. I had read that sharing a calendar with Outlook 97 could only be done when using an Exchange server. Seems like they got rid of that restriction for Outlook 2000, according to some of my research. Also, if anyone knows of another solution to this network calendar dilemma, I'm game for that as well.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the links, however most of them apply to Outlook 2000, which is a different animal than Outlook 97, certainly in terms of net folders. However, I will check them out and see what I can gleen from them.

I am running into the same issue...however, I need to share Calendars from Office 2000 PC's to be made available to an Office XP machine.

I do not yet have an Exchange Server on the LAN and am using internet mail.

Is this possible without using net folders?

Thank You in advance,

Ken
