I've created a DataReport, but I'm having trouble setting the correct ratio between the "Report Width" and the "Width" properties of the DataReport. I'm assuming the "Width" property is referring to the paper width that I want the report to automatically print on without the printer dialog box from displaying. Is this a wrong assumption? If so, what width is it referring to?

I can't get the "Width" property higher than 15360 (which is 10.6" based on 1440 twips per inch.)

I'm trying to format the DataReport to print out on 11"X17" landscaped paper automatically without requiring the user to setup the paper size and orientation using the printer dialog box. I don't want the printer dialog box to show.

Any guidance will be appreciated!

ReportWidth deals with the width of the report.

Width deals with the width of the print preview window's size.

Thanks Jonathanmb! Do you know the code to make the DataReport print on 11"X17" landscaped paper via clicking a Command Button on a Form?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Unfortunately, I think DataReports are limited to only 8.5" x 11" in size.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are using VB's data reporting, you need to set your default printers paper size (Start>Settings>Printers etc) prior to printing a report. The report should then use those settings, bit of an oversight by MS methinks. Hope this helps you.

Happy New Year to ya'll
