Hello team,

I have 4links associated with veritas cluster HA environment, out of them these 2 are being used in the cluster configuration, they have unique MAC and so on.

e1000g2
e1000g3

lines from /etc/path_to_inst
/pci@7c0/pci@0/pci@2/network@0
/pci@7c0/pci@0/pci@2
/pci@7c0/pci@0/pci@2/network@0,1
/pci@7c0/pci@0/pci@2
WARNING:Heartbeat connections are on the same interface card

can someone help me setup this on different interface card? as you see its using the same interface card for HB

Are you only going to use one high pri (hla) and one low pri (lla)

I believe 3 total is recommended:

2 - hla
1 - lla

I have this setup on our VCS clusters interconnects.

Each host has a seperate HBA in addition to the onboard NICS.

The onboard has one of the hla's attached to it

the additional HBA has one hla and the lla attached to it.

Yes, thats what is the setup, can we add additional paths to the interface that HB can be handled? under /etc/path_to_inst... if yes how?
