The conference bridge card is called a Meridian Intgrated Conference Bridge (MICB) and it's part number is NT5D51 and should be in an IPE cardslot and they're BIG $$$$.
If you don't have one you could add an AO6 conferencing key to the phoneset that's chairing the conf call. That person calls the first participant, presses the conf key and keeps adding people on. An alternative would be to "chain" the callers together by A calling B who adds C on. Then either B or C adds on D, the fourth participant.
That's right, a total of 6, including the "conferencer". However, there is a caution in the NTP that confrees who are external to the PBX should be limited to two. It talks about the possibility of annoying noise such as squealing if more that 2 trunks are up on the conf call. That may just be a recommendation. Perhaps others on here have some insight...
I've got an M3904 but I'm on release 24 on my Option 61C...Anyway to make this thing work properly? It can dial out and take calls but cannot transfer, conference, etc.
a total of 6". With AO6, you can actually go higher than that up to the available capacity of the Conference Pack but the audio quality degrades the higher you go. For example, in a lab environment, I have created a conference of 30 internal parties - but you can't hear each other.
