Ok the problem is this:
I'm not a autocad user but i have to help my coworkers.
This is the option we whant to activate: when the commnand open is given(from button or command line) the dialog box opens to the instalation directory of autocad and we whant ot change it.
How ???
Please help!

Right click icon on desktop, pick properties, shortcut tab and in the start in: box type in the path you want Acad to start in. For example... c:\program files\acad 2002\drawings
Hope this helps.

Right click the acad icon on your desktop pick properties, shortcut tab and in the (start in:) box type in the path you want Acad to start in. For example C:\program files\Acad 2002\your file

Right click on the AutoCAD command, select copy and then click on a blank space of your desktop. Right click and select paste. Change the path of this Icon to the directory of your project. If using Windows 2000 you can put a \ at the end of your path and will open the next folder. Rename the AutoCAD icon on your desktop to reflect the name of the path or project. These icons can be copied to a project shared folder over the network so other users can copy the icon to there desktop and not have to recreate it.
