Please verify the SCO version and which type of "network printer" you have.

Code:
I used rlpconf
[ul]
[li]I can print from the sco server, when users prints from an application on the server it prints only the first line.[/li]The rest of the line does not print. [li]The printer is Richo 2020D.[/li] [li]Would I need to install the drivers on the server?[/li]

Either configure the printer for mapping Lf to CrLf or send lines terminated with carriage return + line feed.

Is there a printer type onnlcr available? Think that was the name. Did the mapping for you on some of the earlier versions.

Sorry

Am sorry but I do not remember posting help for RICOH 1515MF printer.

What's onnlcr?
If you send more then 3 lines from UNIX, the printer only prints 3 lines and the rest of the line is not printed

Your printer interface (network) is built out of a file of the same name out of a directory named "models".

If you look in models you may find a printer type called onnlcr. If you compare it against your network model at the place where the file is dumped to the hardware port you will see how the mapping occurs.

You say you are networking. Your configuration says tty1a. One of them is wrong. If you are using tty1a network is the wrong printer model.

Your Ricoh probably defaults to HPLJ. Special features that you want to use generally require you to modify the interface file.

Ricoh has their own special interface files for UNIX printing. I've installed other models of Ricoh Aficio's and had to resort to using their drivers (interface files). Search for UNIX on their download website.

I have download the Rico Aficio's script for SCO, the problem is when printing from the application the font size reduces, when printing a file from SCO it prints fine.

How do I change the "cpi=sdn". I will like to increase it to 10 or 12. If that may help in the font size to increase on the printer.

I believe that 322 is the same as 507 (its been awhile)
First start the hp print server then add a hp printer
and it should work. As long as it is a networked printer it will work. Both of the above will ask a bunch of questions
you will need to know the ip address and ?port they use
