I recently installed a new MICS at a dealership, and removed a 6x16 nortel ksu. Prior to my installation, they had a ringing service setup all the time so when an incoming call came in, it would ring the main attendant set once, and if no one answered it would ring another set once, then another, etc. until someone answered the call. They left this service mode on all the time and were quite happy with it.

My question is, how do I set something up similar to this? There are no line positions on the phones, (and they are assigned 3 digit dn's) so that gives me the option to use a hunt group. They have eight incoming lines (rollover lines), and call pilot 150 voice mail that I will set up to answer after 5 rings if no one answers.

They would like the new system to work like the old one, so any helpful advice would be appreciated!

Add members to you first Hunt group then go to each member in huntgroup settings and add each line you want to the members.
Make the rotary or sequential..I forget which one (broadcast makes them all ring at same time.
If busy I suggest que and then time it out to the main phone that should recieve and vmails.
Assign CCR callpilot to the ext of the huntgroup eg,. for service press 1 and tell path one huntgroup 01(ext 707?)
I hope the helps.
