I have an Aloha 5.3 on a Win 2000 server and 6 terminas being used w/ Win 98. At the moment the staff ring-up the orders at the front of the house and when they need to use a credit card for payment they swipe thru at the terminal and the Aloha Server processes it at the back of house. We need to set up third party to credit card swiping stations (Chase Paymentech, Verifone vx570s) to be inline with new credit card security complience. What do I have to do on the Aloha back of house/server side and/or the terminals in order for an order to processed w/o the need of the credit card? A simple step-by-step procedure will be great.

Thanks.

You wouldn't be able to capture any card information but you can create Visa, MC, AMEX buttons that would settle like cash to allow the server to input so it would make is easier to balance each card type or one button for charge. This would be in the maintenance payments section of Aloha manager.

Cheers,
Coorsman
