We have users connected to one MCD via VPN/MPLS from different locations, some locations time zone is different.
In MCD 7, is it possible to set users to certain time zone on the same controller?

Yes, check out the network zones form

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

This can also be automated based on their Ip address when the sets are registered ( location specification)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I have created a new network zone with different time zone and assign a hot desk user to the new network zone and the time did not change as per new network zone.

I don't think you should test with a hotdesk user.

The hotdesk uses the time assigned to the logged in station

correct , if the user is logged into a device only then its the device only that needs the zone setting

- also if they were auto generated device onlies created before you have added the range of ip's to the location specification form you have to identify them and change their zone manually

sommetimes if you change the device only when a user is logged in , they need to log out and back before the change is noticed.

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
