How do I set multiple IP addresses on NIC?
I know (think) it's possible. Doc's on knowledgebase are for NW6 and NW4; don't see 5.1 mentioned.
I'm on SP6.

It's cake.. don't even need to reboot. ;)
at the console:
add secondary ipaddress 192.168.99.1
..that's it. Add the same line to your Autoexec.ncf of course!
Works on 5.x and up AFAIK (I use this on 5.1 SP5 fwiw)
You can add several IP addresses to the same nic. I don't know what the limit is. I've run up to 5 IP's on one nic so far.

What is the purpose of setting more than one IP Address per NIC?

Umm - Multiple web sites from on 5.1 server.
Is there a better way? (I have a cheap router).
