First of all, assign an address to the group if you want it to be reachable from the internet, if that is not required, then don't.
Second, is how to access it.
In the users Outlook, goto Tools - Email Accounts and click change on the account.
Click More Settings on that screen.
Next click Advand and click Add to open additional mailboxes, here you type the name of that groupmailbox.
That's all If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too.

the server that i create group seems not make any mailbox
i have choose the the <distribution - security> when i create groups, but even if i choose <distribution - global> or another else type of groups it can not make a mailboxs for it, but if i make a personal mail box it create the mail box.
i'm so confuse, or maybe there some wrong setting on my exchange server??? (i use w2k server and exchange 2k)
long ago before i work in this company, the admin before me can make the group and there mailbox for each group.

can any body help solve my problem pls,

thx

You have to add users (members) to a distribution list, a distribution list is not the same mailbox as a user.
