Sounds like these are IP sets, only way I think you can do this is to set the "Keep DN Alive" option and then you can forward the extension. It will cost you an IP licence per DN.
For example, I have a DN 999. However, the person at 999 goes out for all the time. I want to 1) keep this 999, 2)not to have a phoneset plugged onto the wall, AND 3) have 999 forwarded to 888.
Sounds like a case for hotdesking. Do you only have digital phones?
Are you concerned about incomming calls when the DN is inactive? If the DN is dead, but there is a mailbox then call pilot will still answer the call from the AA, so outside callers will not know the difference.
