How to set an outside line number into buttons on an IP phone.

One user has a i2004 IP phone that used to have one of the buttons programmed to an out side line but I can not see how to do that.

Is there a way to do that?

Telephony/ line access/ assigned lines, make the line appear, or appear and ring, depending on what you want.
