How to set a new printer

In FPW 2.6 I used "=SYS(1037)" in my menu to set the printer.

This doesn't seem to work in VFP 9. All it does it let me set the page information. If I manage to pick a printer that's on the network it won't change the printer at all.

I looked at the Help, but it really isn't too clear to me on how to set printers.

Can anyone explain to me how to do a similar thing in this object oriented world?

Not very object oriented, but the answer to your question is to use the SET PRINTER Command.

SYS(1037) doesn't change the printer. You need to do the following:

SET PRINTER TO NAME GETPRINTER()
