What pakage should HP Unix have that a unix user can send out a E-mail through internet?

Thanks in advance.

HP-UX has Sendmail. Sendmail is used to send to the internet.

You have to configure Sendmail to point to an email
server on your LAN. This is done in the /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file

The sendmail is actually a deamon which does the mailing of mail to other servers.
But the programs that you could use to send e-mails could be "pine" a text based, but very reliable, mail program. Or you could use the "mail" or "mailx" utilities. Use the man pages to check mail or mailx, otherwise simply type in pine.
Best of luck
With regards
Ben
